"Blindly" I trust in God

I must admit, I'm not clear about every single thing in this life's journey as a Christian. One of these things, is death. I lost my brother when he was at a young, vibrant age. I still struggle to find all the reasons behind my loss. Neither do I clearly understand why all our prayers don't get answered.

I do believe one explanation could be that our prayers are often not in agreement with God’s will. Only God really knows the reason to unanswered prayers, perhaps, previously unanswered prayers are for the better.

Prayer

I know that one of the purposes of prayer is for us to hear God too, to discover what He wants to do in and trough us. Prayer is not for us to dictate to God, but for us to discover God and His will.

Prayer helps us develop an intimate relationship with God. God’s Word says, that our thoughts are not His thoughts.

I guess God wouldn’t be God if He was simple and easy to comprehend. After all, He gave us eternal life, because it will take eternity for us to explore and discover Him. I no longer waste time wrestling with questions, I seek God instead.

Trust God

Our Lord Jesus Christ is not a magician, but He is a miracle working God. Miracles require you to switch on your faith in all your actions and words, without any doubt, and pray.

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and it is therefore vitally important to consistently immerse oneself in His Word. Even though I have limited understanding of our powerful, almighty, complex God, I learned to trust in Him. It is a blind kind of trust, because even when His thoughts and plans may not be revealed, I continue to seek Him, completely trust in Him and always believe that He has my absolute best interests at heart. His will for my life will always be perfect and acceptable. As a result, I have experienced His restoration and seen miracles happen.

Testimony

After years of trauma and setbacks in life, by the grace of God, I met my husband, we were lost Christians at the time. Our merciful God extended His invitation again, together, my husband and I accepted the invite. We started to journey with Christ, we began to transform. From that day on, we pray for ourselves and our loved ones, we put on the armour, and continue to be humble as we serve, respect and honour our Heavenly Father. We rejoice and give thanks through difficult times, without understanding everything. Since then, we've been experiencing inner-peace and blessings.

God's Word never fails. It’s all about Faith in the unseen, similarly to blindly trust God.

God Bless you!
