One of our main purposes in life is to "Love" the way God does. It is the the eleventh commandment in the bible. John 13:34: "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another". Gaining biblical wisdom causes us to truly fear God and obey all eleven commandments.
As Christians, we have access to God's omnipotent, superior wisdom, which some of the best minds in science have yet to fully comprehend. When certain 'atheist scientists' study the Bible, it appears that their "superior" intellect, high IQs, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities completely shut down. They appear to have limited 'intellectual functioning' for biblical wisdom because they believe only what makes sense to them in their experimental minds, failing to understand that God is not an experiment. This is due to a lack of discernment which only Godly Christians might obtain from the Holy Spirit. These scientists lack the Holy Spirit's power, faith, and the powerful love of Christ, whose death and resurrection defy science.
If you are familiar with the Bible's book of Daniel, you will know that God did not reveal Himself and the wisdom to a great king on earth, He revealed Himself to Daniel; His humble follower, who sought Him earnestly. In Daniel Chapter 1:4 The king chose young men who were competent in Science and Astrology, but none of them could provide the wisdom that the king demanded; only Daniel, who fasted, prayed, and humbly sought God, could answer the king because Daniel understood that all wisdom comes from God alone, and only God can provide the wisdom that the king demanded. However as Christians we must not judge those who hold highly esteemed worldly credentials, such as scientists, additionally we must never undermine Biblical wisdom: James 2:9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
Biblical Wisdom is life
Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Godly wisdom is the ultimate power required for life as a whole; it is neither specialized nor designated for a "certain" or only "specific" sectors in the world, it is the bread of life and it is required for every area of our lives, including past pain, our present lives, and our future lives. Nothing can compare to the profound, dynamic, and potent wisdom of God that brings about miraculous healing, discernment, inner-peace, Godly love, forgiveness, mercy and ultimate victory.
Biblical Wisdom is eternal
We serve a God who is not constrained by time or space—in fact, our God created time and space—gaining biblical wisdom has no age restrictions, and it is not subject "time". Anyone can study the word of God at anytime, old or young. God will not kick you out of the "system" due to age or time constraints. Biblical wisdom does not need constant evolution, it in fact provides revelations. Godly wisdom is about having a heart of God, humility, and teaches us to love like Christ loves us and it has so much more benefits. As Christ is, the Word of God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.”
Christ is the Word: John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The health, happiness and wealth gained from the living Word of God is unending.
Christ said:
John 4:14, KJV: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Biblical Wisdom brings happiness
If you discern the Word of God through prayer, and if you apply the Word of God as intended, it will bring you happiness more than any earthly gift:
Proverbs 3:13-15 King James Version
13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
The Word of God is alive and gives life
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
The Word of God is absolutely alive, it heals, saves, restores. It brings us prosperity and peace, it shapes our character, it makes us wise. The Word of God makes a person exceptionally strong and resilient, it leads and guides us throughout life. The Holy Word of God brings us healing, faith, discernment and victory.
Hebrews 4:12 King James Version 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Romans 11:36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever.
Godly wisdom brings reveals your true purpose and life
Only until I grew closer to God did I've come to realize that I enjoy blogging about my Christian faith journey in the hopes that it would encourage others. Similar to when a person is born-again, they start seeking God in prayer and read their Bible; a beautiful sense of purpose starts to emerge, a strong desire to serve God in a meaningful and purposeful way sets in, whether that be by sharing their testimony, teaching the Word, giving to the poor, or visiting the orphans and widows. God's joy and happiness shine through them, even in times of struggle, they trust God. This occurs because Christians are no longer dead, but have come to life in Christ.
When Godly purpose emerges, Christians recognize that they do not need to be famous as the world demands, nor do they need to be highly skilled, or extremely wealthy to fulfil their God-given purpose. They are not required to "fit in," and their God-given purpose does not have to be "world-renowned."
However, "Christian Purpose" must be done with Godly love and humility which is only understood, and obtained by gaining biblical wisdom. New Christians become humble and begin to understand that they are not here to entertain the world, but rather to pray for it and to be the light. Proverbs 22:4 "By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life".
Biblical Wisdom brings peace, riches and honour
Proverbs 3:13-16-18 King James Version ("her" refers to Wisdom):
16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
Biblical Wisdom brings health to the Flesh
Proverbs 4:22-23 KJV (referring to Wisdom)
22For they are life unto those that find them, And health to all their flesh.
23Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life.
Bible study
The Bible is our personal book of life. God gave us His precious word, if we follow it, we will find inner-peace and happiness, even in times of struggle, and it will bring us good health and wealth. The bible is God's gift to us, we should accept it and use it to build ourselves and others up. We should not merely read the bible but we ought to study it. Pray before studying or reading your bible, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth. The Word of God is "Power" that God has given us.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
Living in Godly Love is to live in Godly Wisdom
Love is the essence of Christianity. God is Love, He is not hate nor lust. When we live in Godly love, we are living in the profound Wisdom of God which surpasses all understanding.
1 Peter 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Matthew 22:37-40 - Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
1 Corinthians 16:14 - Let all that you do be done in love.
I love Daniel's Prayer:
Daniel 2:20-23 NKJV
20 Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His. 21 And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding. 22 He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him. 23“I thank You and praise You, O God of my fathers; You have given me wisdom and might, And have now made known to me what we asked of You, For You have made known to us the king’s demand ”.
~
Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
God Bless you.
